Kithara at the Vision 2021

Vision 2021

Kithara Software, innovator for PC-based real time, has announced participating as exhibitor at this year’s VISION trade fair from October 5 to 7. The Berlin software company will showcase the latest technologies for image capturing and processing in real time at booth 8C12 in hall 8.

At the world’s leading trade show for machine vision, the most recent developments of “Kithara RealTime Vision”, a PC-based software solution for real-time capturing and processing of image data, will be presented. Among these new developments is the support for 10GigE Vision cameras including link aggregation for combining multiple 10 Gigabit Ethernet streams into one, thus achieving even higher image data rates. Furthermore, the Kithara real-time system enables implementation of the PGC-1000 frame grabber card by company PLC2, which allows the CPU to be almost completely offloaded during image acquisition processes within machine vision applications.

“After the 3-year hiatus of the Vision, we are looking forward to finally be able to personally speak with our business partners again. The continuous growth of the machine vision field mirrors the increasing demand of our customers. Despite the broad functional range of Kithara RealTime Suite, industrial image capturing and processing always has a particularly high share in our new developments”, explained Uwe Jesgarz, managing director of Kithara Software.

The Vision 2021 is the world’s leading trade show surrounding the latest products, technologies and trends in industrial computer vision. Here, visitors can experience the full spectrum of innovative possibilities of recent and future machine vision technologies, presented by around 500 leading international exhibitors showcasing state-of-the-art software, systems and components. Also beneficial for visitors is the fact that at the same exhibition site, the industry-related Motek, leading event for the field of production and assembly automation, is taking place in parallel.
