Bad Weather, Good Coding
Berlin is drowning in the rain. What to do as a programmer? Easy Answer: Just continue programming. This Berlin summer of 2017 is currently going down the drain with torrents of rain. It is one rainy day after another so it does not come as a surprise that barely anyone of us is even daring leaving the office.
However, there is one positive thing about it. The rainy weather tempts one to stay inside and continue programming. Where otherwise we would be lured in by the park, the garden, the beach or the swimming pool, we rather dive deep into lines of code right now. Instead of getting swarmed by insects, we are now fixing bugs.
Needless to say, we are looking forward to this summer finally getting more summer-like. But until then we use this weather-related "house arrest" to get things done faster so when the time comes that the temperatures rise again, we might have a bit more breathing room.
One thing is clear. There will be no summer slump at Kithara.
